Overview

  • Interestingly back in WoTLK there was a boss mod addon called AVR (augmented virtual reality), it would draw the screen in OSRS gold real time to indicate the radius of boss mechanisms, in which to stand, at which to stand. It was an unbelievable feat of engineering but blizzard's only option was to cripple the minimap range API it relied on - that is why range checking addons in WoW are scuffed to this day.

They can't buy it since it's open source and has been led to by hundreds or even thousands of people who have ownership rights of the parts of the code. They could however just make their own build they maintain and discharge without paying something, as it is open source.

Yep I really don't get why they do not do this either, I wish they'd place the official connection on the website so people wouldn't accidentally go to the wrong person.

There might be some NDAs involved and there is a possibility that it is similar deal like wiki - they pay x amount of money for labor and resources and runelite devs then need
to do xyz and keep it operating.

Since it is now there's no immediate need to Cheap Runescape gold switch over, but they'd be quite ignorant not to have some kind of large scale client updates coming in the next 1-5years. Everyone understands the vanilla customer is obsolete af and at all honesty over 50% of players using 3rd party clients for the sport is ridiculous.

I see exactly the very same issues and experience the very same problems as a participant of this game too. There seems to be more of a focus on OSRS over Jagex than there's ever been before, so I am hopeful we'll see more positive change.
