Apple Store Gift Cards Discount Apple Stores in Wales and Northern Ireland are already closed due to lockdown restrictions while Apple's Glasgow and Edinburgh stores will remain open under Scotland's new tiered regional restrictions which went live on Monday. Online pre-orders for the new ‌iPhone 12‌ mini and ‌iPhone 12 Pro‌ Max which begin this Friday and order shipments the following Friday are not expected to be significantly impacted with Royal Mail and courier companies excluded from the restrictions. We're still waiting to hear if the pickup point system will remain over the lockdown period.

Apple Store Gift Cards Investment bank Morgan Stanley highlighted potential risks to Apple's Services business even as App Store revenue continued to grow throughout October. In a note to investors seen by AppleInsider lead analyst Katy Huberty writes that preliminary data indicates that the App Store net revenue grew 30% year-over-year in the month of October. That estimate based on preliminary Sensor Tower data shows that App Store revenue reached $1.9 billion in October — a nearly 240 basis point acceleration form September quarter growth.Revenue was broad-based and similar across Apple's 10 largest markets and gaming continued to dominate App Store spending despite fears about the removal of "Fortnite."

A federal judge in Oakland on Friday rejected Epic’s bid for a preliminary injunction that would have required Apple to reinstate the battle royal video game in the app store. Apple had removed “Fortnite” in August after Epic set up a direct-pay option for in-game purchases that circumvented Apple’s pay system. It’s Epic’s second setback in its lawsuit alleging that Apple runs its mobile app store as an illegal monopoly because developers are barred from making their iPhone and iPad apps available through their own websites.
