Fast forward four months and we could now finally see how the new shadows seem in the forthcoming Shadowlands expansion. Before this week we already reported the new NVIDIA Game Ready Driver added support for

Blizzard has updated their minimum required spec to include 100GB storage space for the two SSDs and hard drives. However, they warn players who functionality of your hard disk may impact Shadowland's gaming experience.
In a surprising turn of events, Blizzard has announced that World of Warcraft Shadowlands now needs a 100GB SSD as a minimum requirement, but does that mean you can't run the game with a normal spinning hard drive? A couple of Shadowlands beta testers have reported that running the game in an HDD has not influenced their performance or gameplay in any substantial way. However, as this expansion is still in beta, this is subject to change.
However, it is most likely a good idea to run this game in an SSD anyway (here is our list of Greatest SSDs). When you look at games such as Call of Duty Modern Warfare which don't require an SSD but have very large storage requirements, the game is playable but you will encounter painfully long loading times. You can also possibly experience"hitching" in which the HDD isn't fast enough to stream assets in real time.
Purchasing an SSD should not be a big problem for most consumers -- almost all new PCs and laptops come with solid state storage. Additionally, with the purchase price of SSDs falling exponentially over the past few decades, grabbing a glistening new SSD just for Shadowlands will not break the bank for
